What does that mean? Simply this: If you aren’t happy with the quality of your portrait, we’ll redo it for free. Many companies don’t guarantee their work, but we do, nothing is more important than your complete and total satisfaction.

Makeup

Here are some suggestions. Wear your day makeup; mascara, lipstick, blush, eyeshadow all work great.

If you don’t wear makeup consider some lipstick to define your mouth, blush to add color to your cheeks and some mascara to define your eyes.

Hair

Schedule haircuts and salon visits a couple weeks before your photo session so it doesn't have the just cut look.

If you are getting your hair and makeup done for your photo shoot consider a trial run to make sure they know exactly what you want.

Clothing

Bring your favorite outfits (including shoes) and we will help you pair with your chosen backgrounds. Texture and layering photograph well. Bright colors and fun prints are eye catching and particularly great on neutral backgrounds. Dressy casual, formal or uber casual…these are your pics so choose what is right for you.

Retouching

B&W

Request black & white finishing at no charge.

Natural Retouch

Included on all images unless you request “no retouching.”

Incidental, distracting details will be removed or softened at the discretion of our photo artists.

• Nicks and small blemishes will be removed

• Flyaway hairs against background removed

Complex / Custom Retouch

$35 per 15 minute increment (most of the fixes below take about 15 minutes)

• Eyeglass glare removed to the best of our ability (glare may not always be possible to remove)

• Frizzy hair or a few flyaway hairs on face or over eyes

• Stains, wrinkles or logos removed from clothes

• Acne or rashes

No Retouching:

Some or all of your order can be left unprocessed. Integrity of the original image is maintained and printed as it was captured, leaving skin imperfections intact.

The Process

We are currently offering order appointments via Zoom. Laurie will connect with you to schedule and answer any questions you have about products or process prior to this appointment.

Approximately 24 hours before your Zoom meeting we will send you a link to an online gallery so you can preview your images and have them as reference for your upcoming appointment.

Before your appointment think about where you might like to hang photos in your home and if you need any gifts. This will help us shape the perfect package for you.

Who should attend the order appointment?

Any decision-makers really need to be at this appointment.

What if I need to make a change to my order?

We’ll accept changes to your custom order within twenty-four hours of placing it. After that, your order will be in process and we will be unable to make changes.
